Early 20th Century Illustration Art: An original 1930s concept design painting believed for wallpaper.
The Art Deco wallpaper design is painted in gouache on textured paper, mounted on white paper. The mounting paper inscribed ‘Grasshoppers’, the artists name ‘E.M.Ball’ (unknown) written to reverse. Additionally with tracing paper protective overlay.
The design features grasshoppers and stylised leaf motif in Art Deco/ Bloomsbury group inspired style.
Dimensions: The paper the work is mounted on 31.5cm high x 25.5cm wide.
